The Brighton and Hove Estate Agents Annual Dinner will be held at The Grand in Brighton on Friday 10th February 2012.

The dinner is one of the highlights of the BHEAA’s social calendar where the assocaition members welcome in the newly elected President for the year. This year’s President elect is Victoria Alderton of Barrie Alderton Estate Agents.

The Dinner is open to all members of the association as well as any company or persons who are connected with the property industry. Tickets are still available and cost £55 per person, tables of 8 -12 are catered for.

Cricket match vs Rix and Kay – 29th June

We have provisionally arranged for a cricket match against some legal bods at Rix and Kay on 29^th June from 4 pm at the St James’ Montefiore Cricket Ground on Keymer Road near Ditchling. There will be a barbeque and bar afterwards so please let me know if you want to join in and let’s get a team together to kick them over the boundary – it’s not about joining in it’s about winning !!

President Cup Golf Day is to be held on Thursday 8^th September 2011 at Brighton & Hove Golf Club. The event is being organised by Past President David Aspey. Full details will be available in due course but all golfers please get the date in your calendars.

125th Year Celebrations

A reception is to be held at the Brighton Royal Pavilion on 30^th June 2011 between 4.30pm and 7.00pm. This will be for all Members and distinguished Guests. Formal invitations will be sent out shortly giving full details of the event. This is one not to be missed, a incredible achievement for the Association and its Members.

The Royal Pavilion Ice Ball

The Royal Pavilion Ice Ball.

Tickets are now available for the Royal Pavilion Ice Ball.

The Ice Ball is on Friday 12 November and will provide the very first opportunity for people to skate on Brightons very first outdoor Ice Rink.

In the dramatic setting of the spectacular Royal Pavilion it promises to be a fabulous event.

With free skating, a three course dinner from Due South, and a FREE annual membership to the Royal Pavilion; all proceeds will go to supporting the Royal Pavilion & Museums.

Tickets are priced at £55, and for Members of the Brighton & Hove Estate Agents Group we’ll offer a 10% discount!

BHEAA QUIZ NIGHT 2010

The ‘Battle of the Agents’ is on as we are hosting our first Quiz Night to find out officially who is,

BRIGHTON & HOVE’S MOST INTELLIGENT AGENT?

WHEN: Tuesday 23rd November 2010.

WHERE: The Seven Stars Pub, Middle Street, Brighton.

Time: 6.45pm for a strict 7.30pm start.

Entry Fee: £40 per team of 4, to include a complimentary bottle of wine and food/snacks.

Fundraising: Charity fundraising for www.appeal4felix.com with a target of £1000

Limited teams available and bookings made on a first come, first serve basis.
Cheques should be made out to BHEAA and sent to Richard Payne at Parson Son & Basley, 32 Queens Road, Brighton BN1 3YE. All entrants must be in by Friday 19th November.

President’s Cup 2010

Your President cordially invites you to the 5th Major of 2010. This year our President will be hosting the event at East Brighton meet at Midday for coffee 1st tee from 1pm. He has also arranged a curry for afters (catering by Indian Summer – no less).

So if were unlucky enough to pre-qualify for the Masters, U.S. Open, The Open or the U.S.P.G.A. (and I know many of you were that unlucky), this is your chance to have your name indelibly etched onto a cup which has been with the Association since the Ark.

Cost for the golf and food will be £41.50 (there is a discount for members of E.B.G.C.). Guests are welcome. Stableford format over 18 holes ¾ handicap. There will be prizes for members and guests-mostly in liquid form

Apologies to those members who were to play against the Law Society on the same date but they could not raise a team. We have therefore decided to award ourselves the shield! We hope you don’t mind playing for the Trophy as opposed to beating the solicitors ! If you intend to play there is no need to respond to this email.

2010 BHEAA Seminar, Thursday 3rd June

After a very successful seminar last year, we are happy to announce that we will be holding another on Thursday 3^rd June at The Latest Music Bar on Manchester Street, Brighton BN2 1TF.

We would like to invite you to join us for a buffet lunch at 12noon kindly sponsored by Woolley Bevis Diplock. Then we will commence proceedings at 1pm and finish the day at 4pm.

Fresh from the news of England winning the World Twenty20, our Annual cricket challenge is shortly upon us against our friends at The Argus. Unfortunately, last year under the leadership of our immediate Past President, David Aspey, we managed to lose all of our sporting challenges, an issue which our current President is keen to change.
