Lindsay entered the property business in 1987 as a negotiator for Connell’s Estate Agents. He joined Bernard Thorpe in 1988 where he moved to commercial surveying specializing in business rating and public house valuations.

He completed a Diploma in Surveying through the College of Estate Management, Reading in 1998 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1999.

Since then Lindsay has worked throughout the south coast, the majority of the time working for established local practices in Brighton and Hove.

For the last 12 years he has specialized in property management dealing with both residential and commercial property.
Lindsay joined Flude Commercial to head up the Commercial Property Management team and to assist in the professional team. Lindsay was appointed a Director on 1st April 2009.

Lindsay was the Honorary Secretary of the Brighton and Hove Estate Agents Association in 2009, of which he has been a member for 12 years.

Vicky is a director of Barrie Alderton Estate Agents Ltd a family owned and run firm established in 1990. She has lived in Brighton all her life and has worked for the family firm since 2002 alongside her father Barrie a past president of the association and her mother Geraldine who is also a member.

The firm specialises in residential sales and lettings in the Hanover, Queens Park, Elm Grove and Lewes Road areas of Brighton, and have now opened a new office in London Road which specialises in Lettings but also deals with residential sales. Barrie Alderton Estate Agents are members of the NAEA, The Property Ombudsman, NALS and were the 1st Estate/Letting agent to be approved by Brighton and Hove Trading Standards Buy With Confidence Scheme.

Anthony has been involved with the local property market since the 80's. Set up a Residential lettings company in Brighton in 1990.Has as also acted as a consultant and trainer for estate agents in London & the south east. Whiteheads Lettings merged with Oakley in 2009. Now heads the Residential Lettings department as lettings director. Having been a Member of the National Association Of Estate Agents since the 1994 he firmly believes that the industry should have some compulsory regulation to protect clients and increase standards in the sector.

James is an associate director of Oakley Residential Estate Agents and has worked for them since 2004 presently managing the city centre residential office.

Born in Brighton & Hove his enthusiasm for property and his home town have seen him working in residential & commercial sales since 1994.

Phil Graves

Phil is the founding Partner of leading property specialists Graves Jenkins, established since 1992.

Dealing with all aspects of commercial and residential sales, lettings and acquisition, the practice also undertakes valuation and survey work for both corporate and private clients, in addition to Property Management services on all types of buildings. Operating from offices in Brighton and Crawley, covering Sussex, Surrey and beyond, with approximately 30 staff.

With over 27 years in the industry and a Member of the Association since 1995. Phil also sits on the Business Retention and Inward Investment Board for Brighton & Hove City Council.

Jason Brand

Jason Brand started in Estate Agency in 1986 as a trainee for a small independent agent in central Brighton. Having worked his way ‘from the bottom to the top’ of the industry he has now worked through two recessions gaining vast experience in residential estate agency during the hardest periods of agency in recent times.

Jason formed Brand Vaughan in January 2007 with business partner David Vaughan; their offices can be found on St Georges Road in Kemp Town.

Louise started her career in estate agency with a large corporate firm in 1992 and moved onto working for an independent agent in 1998.
Louise opened her own sales and lettings agency, Brices, in 2004 and as well as joining the Council for BHEAA is a member of NAEA and OEA.

Julie Frith

Julie started working in the new homes industry in 1986 starting as a new homes sales negotiator working on site for a large plc developer. Since then she has worked for many leading new homes developers all over the South East, both in sales and marketing roles and predominantly in the luxury homes market.

In 1990 she studied at the College of Estate Management, Reading and received an certificate in Residential Estate Agency.

Prior to joining Mishon Mackay she worked for a large new homes developer as area Sales & Marketing manager. In 2002 she joined Mishon Mackay Land and New Homes and became a partner in 2003. This role has enabled her to bring her marketing experience and expertise to local development companies as well as providing a local service for large developers.

Julie will represent the BHEAA on the Brighton & Hove Strategic Planning Committee.
